Toronto - 4hr 50min
Las Vegas - 5hr 30min

The beach at Manuel Antonio National Park was recently rated "Best Beach in Central America" by TripAdvisor. Located a mere 35-45 minute drive from both our properties and viewable from the wrap around decks of TREE TOP COTTAGES Manuel Antonio National Park is a nature and beach lovers paradise. Definitely worth a day trip or if you want to beat the crowds you can always visit one of the closer, comparable and less crowded beaches just minutes from our rental houses. Just another reason why COSTA RICA remains the go to destination for scenic beauty and tropical beaches in the western hemisphere. http://insidecostarica.com/2013/05/24/manuel-antonio-ranked-as-best-beach-in-central-america/

Getting to Costa Rica and both our rental properties is easy! Juan Santamaria International, the main Costa Rica airport located in the capital of San Jose is serviced daily by a number of from many of the worlds major airlines. Average flight time from most major North American cities is around 5 hours and many of the flights offered are direct. Much of Europe is a 9 hour flight. Asia is a longer flight but is serviced by a number of airlines.

Once on the ground you have two main options to get to us. You can either rent your 4x4 and head straight down the newly paved Costanera Highway for what is usually a 3-3.5 hour scenic drive. You can also book a connector flight from San Jose that will take you to Quepos Regional Airport conveniently located only a 30-35 minute drive from us straight down the Costanera. Connector flights are about 17 minutes long and cost around US $60-$70 per flight on average. Sansa and Nature Air both offer flights to Quepos which has its own Budget car rental desk however book ahead as availability of vehicles is more limited outside of San Jose.

Once you pass Dominical its just a few minutes down the highway to our properties and we are just off of the highway straight up a mountain road. Thats it! You have arrived. For the more adventurous you may take the inland mountain road which takes you through mountain passes some as high as 11,000 feet! Its a bit longer of a drive from San Jose going that route, about 4.5 hours but the vistas along the way are breathtaking. The mountain road is not recommended for night-time drives as it is largely single lane, steep driving.

We provide all our guests with detailed maps and directions and a local phone number to call incase you get lost or delayed. As well your car rental company can provide additional directions and even offer GPS rentals for a small fee.

Simple!
